Dear Parents,

Hello!  Bonjour!  My name is Linda Borgia.  I am originally from Canada, but have been in Florida since 2000.  I am blessed with three lovely children, two dear daughters-in-law, and four wonderful grandchildren who all live in Port St. Lucie.

I have my Bachelor of Education from the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada.  My teaching experience includes first, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades.  I have been teaching First Grade at Morningside Academy since 2009.  My goal is to have a classroom environment that is peaceful, but stimulating in daily learning.  

 I love teaching First Grade and am so excited to be teaching at Morningside Academy.  It is a true blessing for me to be able to simultaneously teach academics and share God’s Word with these precious little children.  We have a wonderful Heavenly Father who shows His steadfast love to us.  He is there just waiting for us to have a personal relationship with Him.

It is my prayer that each child in my class succeeds academically, but even more important that they come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. 

One of my favorite Bible verses is:

Isaiah 26:3-4

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You,

because he trusts in You. 

Trust in the Lord forever, for the LORD GOD

is an everlasting Rock.
