I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for leading me to this academy and church. Morningside Academy and Morningside Church endeavor to put God first in all things. As a Christian educator with 20 plus years of experience, I am blessed to be part of an organization that has high educational and Biblical standards.
In 2014, I moved from a suburb near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Florida because I believed the Lord was leading and allowing my husband and I to be closer to my family. I have three grown children and six grandchildren whom I am blessed to be near each day. I worked at a Christian academy teaching high school English and history in Pennsylvania for more than 20 years and came to Florida to work as a high school English teacher and high school adviser for another Christian academy in Fort Pierce until the Lord provided me with a position here at Morningside in 2017. In addition to my studies in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in history and literature, my degree in Human Services Management provided the necessary education to take the position as Dean of Students here at Morningside. I also enjoy teaching middle school English and Bible, coaching girls’ volleyball, and being the 2018-19 NHS adviser.
My heart’s desire is to instruct your children to “increase in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52). Thank you for allowing me to have a part in the spiritual and academic education of the students of Morningside Academy.
