I am very excited to begin my 2^nd year as Principal and my 14^th year overall at Morningside Academy Upper School.  It has been such a blessing working in a Christian environment where I am able to share my faith with the children here.  My husband and I were married at Morningside Church 22 years ago.   Jason is a Lieutenant / Paramedic with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and has spent 31 years in the fire service having spent the first 10 years in St. Lucie County.  We have been blessed with two amazing children who both graduated from Morningside Academy.  Madyson is currently at Southeastern University studying Nursing, and Christian is at Florida Atlantic University studying Architecture.  I credit Morningside Academy for its solid elementary foundation and rigorous college preparatory program which has equipped both children to earn substantial academic scholarships.   

With regards to my educational background, I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1996 with a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Business Administration.  I furthered my academia career at Barry University and attained a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work in 1999.  I am currently working on another Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.  I am also certified through FACCS to teach all levels of mathematics. 

My favorite verse is Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
